Vesselino Ltd will be a co-exhibitor in Europe Gormet Network Group at FoodEx, Japan 09-12.03.2021. You could find us at a booth 6F70, hall 6 in Organic &Wellness area.
There you could have possibility to test and to know more about typical Bulgarian spice “Samardala” (Nectaroscordum Siculum Bulgaricum), which was introduced in Japan from the local explorer of international kitchen, Mrs. Misato Okaneya in a show by the Japanese national television NHK on 27.10.2019.

We are happy to announce that Mrs. Okaneya was personnel guest of our employee, whom she included in her culinary project and thus popularized the Bulgarian spice “Samardala” in Japan. An interesting unification of the culinary traditions on both sides was the preparation of the traditional Japanese dish “Oginiri” with Bulgarian “Samardala”.
In December 2020, was published Mrs. Misato Okinea’s book “Exploring the World Cuisine”. There were included recipes, photos and information about this unique Bulgarian spice from her visit in Kazanlak at a home of Nelly Koleva.
We will be more than happy to introduce and to give you more information in new tendencies in use of dried medicinal herbs: their consumption in powdering form.
